EXHEAT Awarded Contract for Heating Equipment at Petro Rabigh Refinery

EXHEAT Ltd announced today that it has been awarded a contract for the design and supply of an electric nitrogen heater bundle and safe area thyristor control panel for use at Petro Rabigh's Refining and Petrochemical Complex in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

As one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of electric process heaters, EXHEAT will provide full technical design and manufacture of the heater. This latest heater contract is part of Petro Rabigh’s Phase II Project, involving a planned expansion of its refining and petrochemical complex. Investment for the expansion project is estimated to be at SAR30bn, and project ownership is expected to be transferred from the founding shareholders Sumitomo Chemical and Saudi Aramco to Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) by the end of 2014.
